Wreaths
Evoke the spirit of the season with a wreath arrangement for the front door that will greet visitors, friends and family.
First, consider what kind of wreath will express your feelings, interests, or ideas. Select foliage branches (fresh or artificial) and decorations with a common theme.
To get started, you will need:
hot glue gun and glue sticks
wire cutters and wire
a large table for a workspace
a plastic tablecloth
branches or foliage (fresh or artificial)
decorative items
grapevine wreath frame
When ready, proceed as follows:
1. Using wire cutters, trim all the stems from the branches or foliage you have selected for your wreath to make them about 3 inches long.
2. Arrange the stems and other decorations how you like them, covering the entire grapevine wreath. Personalize with a theme or objects that are expressive.
3. Using a hot glue gun, attach all pieces to the frame. If needed, use extra wire to hold the pieces in place.
4: Complete the wreath with a raffia bow at the top or bottom. Wired ribbon and other types of ribbon can also be used for bows. Strands of artificial berries are a nice touch.
Depending on the door, wreaths may be mounted with suction cups, magnetic hangers, or over-the-door wreath hangers.
